The end of transnational adoption in Norway? A conversation with Uma Feed

The Centre for Gender Studies at the University of Stavanger invites to a conversation between Lene Myong, professor and director of the centre and Uma Feed, artist and actress. They will discuss questions like: Why are many transnational adoptees critical of the adoption system? How is adoption connected to racism and inequality? And what awaits if the transnational adoption system is permanently ended?

Bachelor relay spring 2024

The Centre for Women's and Gender Research (SKOK) at the University of Bergen invites all students who are writing a bachelor thesis with a gender perspective to a full-day seminar where you can present your project and get feedback. The idea behind the relay is to create a meeting place for students and gender researchers across disciplines. The participants will have the opportunity to establish useful contacts with each other and get input from professionals other than their supervisor. In addition, it can be inspiring to hear about what other students are working on. Registration deadline 13 March.
